We found this little house (built in the 1910s) in much altered and dilapidated condition. The exterior was barely recognizable as a traditional house, and the interior was gutted entirely. We rebuilt the porch and added the windows to return it to what it must once have looked like. On the inside, we decided to create a fun contemporary interior with the addition of a loft and spiral stairs. The wood-paneled walls are a modern-looking gesture that hearkens back to the simple beadboard walls that this house would have had originally. It was completed in 2007.
